Claims Reimbursement Specialist

We are looking for a qualified Claims Reimbursement Specialist to join our team.
The Claims Reimbursement Specialist performs electronic and manual billing, follow-up submission of claims to appropriate insurance carriers, and credit collections for various programs. This position also verifies documentation for billing, responds to claims denials, resubmits claims when necessary and communicates with program staff to discuss and resolve billing issues. The schedule is part-time, generally 32 hours per week. This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefit package.
Requirements include - High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in billing, reimbursement, credit, collections and/or medical terminology. Must be proficient with computer-based data entry, office software, and the operation of office machines. Requires extensive use of telephone with appropriate interpersonal skills.
